I Am Incensed

CoworkerOne and I went on an egg-hunting expedition at lunch today and could not find Cadbury Crème Eggs. Not one. We went to more than once place (okay, one more than one but that was all that was around). That’s my Easter commercialism every year. I just want one Cadbury Crème Egg and after having that, I’m set for another year. What has the commercialization of Easter come to if we can’t find the traditional crème egg of our youth?

Because I couldn’t get what I wanted I was forced, forced I tell you, to binge-buy other sugary products. The Russell Stover Dark Chocolate Crème eggs are just not as good. While I enjoy having the dark chocolate option, the fill ratio is not as high as Cadbury’s, the crème is not as thick, and you don’t get that yellow stuff in the middle that is oh-so-egg-like.

See... I consider the russel stovers creme eggs in a totally different category than the cadbury creme eggs. Cadbury are their own thing. I've seen a ton around lately... very sad you couldn't find any. Let me know if you need me to mail you one.

As for russel stover, I bought some maple creme eggs and raspberry whip eggs not to long ago. I ate one of the maple ones so far. I love them (in a different way than the cadbury creme eggs). I remember them being one of the most treasured candies in my easter baseket when I was a kid.

Those other eggs you linked to though... I can't stand them. I always try one and then hate it.

sheesh..look at that long comment. See what happens when you bring up candy.

Oh, these creme eggs were different than those regular creme eggs. These were clearly trying to be just like cadbury. The same thick chocolate around the same kid of runny creme and packaged the same. I wasn't able to find them online otherwise I would have linked them. They were inferior. The creme eggs you are talking about are clearly a different kind of candy all together!

okay... then that is totally lame. I adore the whipped filling russel stover eggs (probably a little too much, and now I REALLY want one but alas, I am here and they are at home).

I also love the cadburys mini eggs. And jelly beans. and...well, I have a problem with candy.

If loving candy is a problem, then well, I'd rather just have the issues:)

It is a problem in the butt department. Yet that doesn't seem to be stopping me at all. Man am I jonesin' for one of those russel stover whipped eggs. I don't get home untl 4:30... can I really wait that long?

Also...the word "gym" is in my verification. Should I take that as a sign that I should not be going out to dinner with most of the Fold this evening and should perhaps instead use that membership I spend the big bucks on?

I see no problem with your butt. They just need to make clothes for something other than adults with the hips of a six year old.

hm. maybe gym another time.

I wonder if the gym is open this Sunday. That is my only time this weekend.

Also, i found some pants that fit better than most. Of course from the men's department.
