so. today is the company picnic. and tomorrow is caroline's last day. i couldn't wait, so i gave her her goodbye gifts today: wheat thins and overalls. two things she really wanted to bring and have, but cannot get in kenya:) looking forward to vicki's visit this weekend. our friend backed out at the last minute, but her sister is still coming up with us. a very needed girl weekend for venting and just hanging out. i'm thinking of taking them to the improv for some good laughs too.

and i have a confession to make. i have been sucked into watching 'american idol'. and i'm even rooting for a particular person. and i even have opinions about the ones that are just bad. stop pointing and laughing! it's not like i actually voted for any of them. well, okay, i tried but the line was busy and i refused to try more than once. it's a sickness.
